Write, call, email or meet face-to-face with your Legislator, to voice your support for Complete Streets policies. (Unsure who your Legislators are? Not a problem! Click here.)

Action Alert! On June 29, 2010, the House of Representatives passed Complete Streets legislation, H.B. 6151 and 6152. Now it’s onto the Senate, and we need your help! Use our Sample Letter to contact members of the Senate Transportation Committee and urge them to pass H.B. 6151 and 6152.

Quick Tips: Legislators are usually only in Lansing during session days (Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays). Plan to call or schedule an appointment with your Legislator on these days. Many Legislators also host coffee hours on weekends within their districts, to make it easier for constituents to share their concerns. This is a great option if you can’t make it into Lansing, but want to speak with your Legislator in person.
